The Fiat Fastback is the name of the Italian house’s first SUV coupe, but it will be exclusive to South America and specifically Brazil and Argentina. After showing some teaser images anticipating the shape, Fiat has released the full images announcing the future availability of the model.

Fiat Fastback, only for South America

If you look at the images on the front, you can see a large mask with the lettering Fiat in the middle and the LED headlights running horizontally. The vertical air inlets, in which the fog lights are positioned, are particularly special. From the side you can see the large raw plastic wheel arches that give the car an off-road tone and the steeply sloping roofline. At the rear you can see the sloping rear window and the narrow, horizontal headlights. The continuous glass roof gives the car a premium touch.

Fiat is the leader in Brazil

Fiat is the absolute leader in Brazil, so it’s easy to see why the Italian company has invested in a new model. Technically, the Fastback is likely to be related to the Suv Pulse, sharing both the Mla platform and engines. This means that the fastback should be equipped with the 128 hp “Mille” engine with a torque of 200 Nm. The presence of the 1.3-liter engine with 106 hp and 134 Nm of torque is not yet certain. Both units should either be connected to the automatic cvt that transmits the power to the front axle.
